How payment works
Most trips are paid for in one of three ways. Dispatch confirms which applies before a trip is scheduled.
Medi-Cal members may have a transportation benefit. Eligibility and trip authorization are decided by the member’s health plan.
Facility billing may be available for trips arranged by hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, dialysis centers, medical offices, and other healthcare organizations.
Pricing is based on trip distance and the service level required. A card is saved with the request. Nothing is charged when the request is submitted. The charge is made after Dispatch approves the trip.
